Organizer

Hallie Hurwitz

Hallie is currently completing a student intership through OSU's College of Social Work. As part of her learning experience, she will be sharing a self-care and relaxation technique. This watercolor workshop will aim at providing an enjoyable environment and activity. Maybe you produce a work of art, but the main goal is to achieve a sense of relaxation and calm. Below are Hallie's notes about the workshop.

The water color workshop is designed to create a space for relaxation and introspection. When you arrive there will be water, tea, and fruit to start off the decompression with light music in the background. Paper, paint, and paint brushes will also be provided for the workshop. Once everyone has arrived, the participants will watch a short video discussing how watercolors can be a great way to release tension. The rest of the workshop will be done without speaking only whispers if necessary to allow the participants to become one with their paper. The only thing the members need to bring is themselves.
