Lesson 12: Wrap-up

This is a course for individuals who have never had formal art training. We will cover the foundations of drawing by covering the following topics in twelve lessons, meeting twice a week: Line making and types of lines, use of negative space in drawing, shading, one, two and three point perspective, drawing complex subjects, improving accuracy, and exposure to graphite, charcoal and drawing with a pen.  Learners will need to provide their own sketchbook, a no. 2 or HB pencil, a ballpoint pen (any color), kneaded eraser, a vinyl eraser, willow or vine charcoal, tracing paper and ruler or straight edge. These items can be found at a hobby store or on Amazon.
