Join us at the Franklin Park Conservatory for a birding walk and to learn about the spring migration!

Every spring from mid-April to mid-May millions of birds complete their spring migration across the Americas. Join educators from the Grange Insurance Audubon Center to learn about migratory birds, flyways, and how you can get involved with community science. Participants will discover how to use Audubon’s Migratory Bird Explorer tool, search for birds throughout Franklin Park on a guided bird walk, and enter the data collected on the walk into the eBird database. Binoculars and field guides will be provided to participants during the class.

Smartphones are required for the eBird database, but you can still take the class without one and enjoy the birding walk!

Please register at least one week in advance, so that we can book tickets for this event.
