A monthly meeting to discuss books: nonfiction and fiction, old and new. There is usually a monthly book recommendation, but sometimes we choose to just share whatever the individual participants have been reading.
This month's reading: James, a Novel; by Percival Everett (2024)
The novel is a retelling of Huckleberry Finn, but from the perspective of Huck's enslaved friend Jim. Some of us may reread Huckleberry Finn for comparison.
