A monthly meeting to discuss books: nonfiction and fiction, old and new. There is usually a monthly book recommendation, but sometimes we choose to just share whatever the individual participants have been reading. 

 

This month's reading: The Glass Castle, A Memoir by Jeanette Walls (2005)

 

A remembrance of the author's impoverished and nomadic life with her siblings and her highly unconventional parents.
